Cox customers now have access to more programming in Asian, European and Middle Eastern languages
July 10, 2008 (Orange County, Calif.) – As part of its commitment to provide programming for multicultural
customers, Cox Communications announced today that effective July 11, it will offer five additional
multicultural channels in Orange County, California and seven additional channels in Palos Verdes, California
provided through International Networks.
As a result of the new launches, the following channels are now available via Cox Digital Cable throughout
Cox’s Orange County and Palos Verdes service areas:
- ART: Arabic programming. Available on Channel 427 in Orange County and Channel 459 in Palos
Verdes. Individual subscription fee of $11.95 per month. New to Palos Verdes customers.
- CCTV-4: Chinese programming in Mandarin. Available on Channel 476 as part of the new
International Tier. Free to Cox Digital Cable customers in Orange County and Palos Verdes. New to
Orange County customers.
- Channel One Russia (C1R): Russian programming. Available on Channel 424 in Orange County and
Channel 456 in Palos Verdes. Individual subscription fee of $12.95 per month.
- Phoenix InfoNews: Chinese programming in Mandarin. Available on Channel 453. Individual
subscription fee of $11.95 per month. Also available in the Chinese Deluxe Pack, a three-network
package with Phoenix North America Chinese Channel and CTI-Zhong Tian Channel for $19.95 per
month.
- Phoenix North America Chinese Channel: Chinese programming in Mandarin. Available on
Channel 452. Individual subscription fee of $11.95 per month. Also available in the Chinese Deluxe
Pack, a three-network Chinese Combo package with Phoenix InfoNews and CTI- Zhong Tian Channel
for $19.95 per month.
- Saigon Broadcasting Television Network (SBTN): Vietnamese programming from SBTN, which is
locally headquartered in Orange County. Available on Channel 423 in Orange County and Channel 458
in Palos Verdes. Individual subscription fee of $12.95 per month.
- TV Asia: South Asian programming in Hindi, Gujarati, English and other regional Indian languages.
Available on Channel 413 in Orange County and Channel 445 in Palos Verdes. Individual subscription
fee of $11.95 per month. Also available in the South Asian Deluxe Pack, a two-network South Asian
Combo package with Zee TV for $19.95 per month. New to Palos Verdes customers.
- TV5MONDE: French programming. Available on Channel 425 in Orange County and Channel 457 in
Palos Verdes. Individual subscription fee of $11.95 per month. New to Palos Verdes customers.
In addition to the networks listed above, Cox Communications also offers other International Networks services
including CTI-Zhong Tian Channel (Chinese-Mandarin), MYX (Asian American), RAITALIA (Italian), The
Filipino Channel (Filipino), TV JAPAN (Japanese) and tvK (Korean).
All of these channels are now available to Cox Communications customers throughout the Orange County
communities of Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, Irvine, Ladera Ranch, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel,
Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano,
Tustin and some unincorporated parts of Orange County as well as Palos Verdes, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling
Hills, Rolling Hills Estates and parts of San Pedro.

contact Cox at 1-888-205-6022. For a limited time only, Cox Communications customers in Orange County
and Palos Verdes can add any international premium network or international combination package free for
one month*.
